Mary Elizabeth breaks up with Charlie because he kissed Sam. Brad’s dad found out about him and Patrick and was beating Brad right in front of Patrick. Patrick is in a really bad state in mind and Charlie is there for him but his coping mechanisms are very unhealthy. Same started talking to Charlie again. Mary Elizabeth gets a new boyfriend. Sam got cheated on and is single now.

Before Christmas break started Patrick, Sam Charlie and their other freinds did a Secret Santa and exchanged gifts. Charlie got Patrick and he gave him a mix tape of all his favorite songs so he could listen to when he's sad and get happy. He then gave everyone else their present. He read a poem and then Same gave him a type writer. For the holidays they went with their dad's side of the family.

Charlie went to a party with Patrick and Sam. In that party he ate these brownies that got him feeling sick so Sam took him to the kitchen and made him a smoothie. When he went to go to the restroom and he found Patrick kissing Brad. Patrick told him to not tell anyone and told him the story behind it. Same is now dating a 21 and Charlie doesn’t like him because of the way he treats Sam.
