Alan just seems like a great guy. He's very cognizant of the lucky breaks he's gotten and is grateful for them. He learns something from every experience he's had and has a positive take-away. And he's especially thankful for the people in his life who have helped him, supported him, or taught him something that have made him the man he is today, personally and professionally.
