Purchased in June 2012, this is my first ever Kindle book. I learned nothing from the person on my feed who suffered through their oldest book, so here I am. But I didn't make a commitment, so if I hate this as much as the derivative-sounding blurb makes me think I will, I'll unashamedly DNF it.

Daniel I've just looked up mine. My first purchases seem surprisingly non-awful. I have 6 items from March 7, 2009. Three of those I've read or read some portion of, (Milne's The Red House, an Edgar Rice Burroughs collection and a Raymond Chandler collection.) Of the other three, Assassin's Apprentice, Red Mars, and some random Harry Turtledove thing, Hobb is the only one I'd really consider reading. I've never successfully started a KSR book and Hobb's been on the "I should try that" even before that.

Apparently collecting every trash freebie and promo didn't start until I'd had the kindle for about a week.
