Completed; Out Of The Silent Planet. One thought stuck to me this time around. While Ransom is translating between Weston and Orosa, there was an argument that life and the human race was the ultimate experience and should be protected above all else. There are other great things, Lewis says, life is great, but it is not the only greatest. Thinking like that has a "bent" way.
