Crawling along in this book... soooooo mundane and boring!

So slow...

And it's just so melodramatic all the time... Deacon was with Amy, lost their virginity together, then Amy ended up with Jon. Jon wanted to be gay for Deacon but he wasn't. But if he was he'd be in love with Deacon too, Benny is in love with Deacon. Crick... Who ISN'T in love with Deacon!

The logic of these people is sooooo convoluted...! Benny loved Deacon like REALLY LOVED him, so she wants to give him her baby with his sperm artificially inseminated??? And then she can let him go??? And then they will be square??? HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?

This one isn't going to be 5 stars... as much as knowing the family from everyone's POV is interesting, it all starts to blend together at some point. The voices lose their uniqueness. And the lack of focus annoys me.
