Disappointed in Espinal, Hathcock & Rios' postbac fellowship proposal: $18k salaries for PT library workers, counting tuition remission as compensation (it's not), employment contingent on progress towards MLIS degree. As if there aren't enough contingent jobs in higher ed for poc to get funneled into. Ideas designed for academic library deans = inherently cost-cutting/conservative?
