Marie separates the papers into 3 sections. After tidying up the papers her place looks so much cleaner now we could see her furniture. It looks so much different than before Marie started helping Chiaki out cleaning her place. Then they find a bunch of useless stuff Chiaki had laying around and throw it all out. Next they head on to the sentimental stuff...

They continue with books, Chiaki has a lot of books. Theres this book Chiaki wants to keep because it brings her so much joy even though she has already read it. Kondo lets her keep it because it belongs in her hall of fame and she adds that she should treasure it. Next they continue with papers her place still looks messy because of the papers she has tons of piles of useless papers.

Marie tells Chiaki to hang her clothes so they rise to the right she adds that doing so will bring more joy to the clothes. Chiaki bumps into her neighbor again she accidentally tell him everything shes been learning about. Next, Marie and Chiaki tackle the books.

It is so much easier for Chiaki to discard clothes now she feels free that she has discard all her clothes that don't spark joy. I left off where they start putting them away but Chiaki just wants to hang them she says it because they don't get wrinkley like that. Marie Kondo makes a good point though she says Chiaki will have so much more space to put away more things if she just folds away her clothes away right.

Kondo finds a way to make it easier for Chiaki to give up her some of her clothes she dosen't need. She does by starting with off season clothes its easier to judge when she won't need them right away.

Kondo tells Chiaki to choose what she wants to keep first and then figure out what she wants to discard. They start with the clothes first, Chiaki brings all her clothes together. Chiaki has so many new clothes and is having a hard time choosing what to keep.

Marie teaches Chiaki that storage is not the answer to clutter. Chiaki wants to keep everything and shes having a hard time getting rid of things she doesn't need. Marie teaches her the easiest way to get rid of things is to only keep things that spark joy.

Chiaki went outside her balcony and then saw her neighbor outside his balcony to, she then told him how she was taking tidying lessons. She then accidentally fell into her neighbors balcony. That was when she came up to the answer for her homework question.

Kondo and Chiaki drink some coffee and talk about why she has a wide range of interests. Chiaki tells her how shes into guys who are really into something and she trys out whatever their into so she can know them better. Then once their done talking Kondo leaves and gives Chiaki a question to think about she tells her "what life would she like to live here?"
