It was so good I can’t wait to read the rest of the series! Grandpa Hawthorne really had them running in circles lol. The tension between the love interest like okayy. Grayson kind of came out of nowhere tho 😭 the ending was so good too like THE PUZZLE ISN’T FINISHED YET! I love all the characters and the twist and turns of the book. It all connects

Got to really good parts. Found out about Emily and I already don’t like her lol. Avery is getting closer to the answer and the tension between her and Jameson is immaculate. He’s a little bit douchey bc everything is a game to him (I don’t hate it tho bc I agree). Also Libby pissing me off. I’m so excited for what happens next.

So far I love the main character Avery! The first thing that happens in the book is that a teacher accuses her of cheating and the principal says something condescending. Avery retakes the test in front of the principle to prove that she didn’t cheat. This was girl boss shit! Anyways, I got to the part where the will is read and it’s fucking crazy. I can’t deallll and the brothers are so different 😮💨
