The wit and humor in this is so good. The author has such a way with words! The characters are already growing on me and I’m loving the use of the tensions between witches and vampires to signify racial tensions in America.

I’m really enjoying this. So far I’ve gotten to know some of the history behind witches and vampires being sworn enemies and I love how the author has inserted that history into true historical events like the Salem Witch trials and the Spanish Inquisition.
