How’s the book so far? Back when I read it, I had a totally different worldview than I do now.

I must admit I am struggling with the concepts. Also, I wish I would have read "The Secret of the Kells" and "The Canterbury Tales" prior to reading this as they are both cited as examples frequently.
The most interesting portion for me is that of the relationship between Basic English, Newspeak, and Uniquack.
I wish there was a bit more of a comparative overview of the other sorts of language expression, but possibly the authors expected their readership to more familiar with subject than I. 3.5/5
