Jake, you say some sweet things sometimes but then you say lines like “I can’t wait to get you home and spanking you for that sass.” To a trafficked woman whose just lost her sister and has no real choice but to accept your advances, even though it’s a ‘romance’ so she does reciprocate your ‘love’ aka lust. And I just, why?! I’m angry! Enraged! Sad! I want her to be playing you the whole time.

The writing has gone downhill. Suspension and violent scenes are definitely this authors strong suit. But she could be befit from some stronger editing, or at least more of it.

So far, so fun. Even if it has a few flaws.
