Isabel got a commercial audition for Happy Wow which is a drink that is sold and aired in Japan. However, one of the requirements was to dress in all yellow from head to toe because Isabel was playing for the part as a banana that is one of the ingredients in the Happy Wow drink.My favorite part in the book was that Isabel thought that was silly and crazy, but she had to make the cut for the commercial. On page 149, it says,"I just spent the week with Mr.Tipton studying Shakespeare, for crying out loud. I am an actress. I'm a serious actress, not a..a.. BANANA!" This text shows that Isabel is surprised that she is going to have to play as a silly part. At the audition, Isabel had to be a dancing banana in the commercial but she couldn't do it. Instead she started laughing of how funny the other girls looked when they were dancing as the bananas. She laughed so hard that she started jumping up and down and danced. On page 177, it says,"I keep laughing and jumping, but for the first time I'm just one of the other bananas, and for a few seconds I don't feel silly at all." Isabel realized she can be a silly girl at one point and not always acting as a serious actress. This is my favorite part because Isabel realized that she has some fun in her but never knew.
