So far the main characters are Tobias, Tris, Christina, Evilyn, and Marcus. Most of them are in a group called the allegiant which are the people who want to go outside the fence like Edith Prior said to. Some got the chance to and took it and now they are in a place that has watched them all there lives and gave them the seryms that hurt and changed the people in the fence and now Tris wants to take them down.
