David the Good never talks about politics but I definitely get the sense with his new grocery food row series he's doing he's planning for the apocalypse

It's very old school vs all the stuff about hot composting out there, but works and reduces waste.

Anyway, I thought I might purchase a paperback of this book, but I'm not. I would recommend this to beginners interested in composting who are intimated by all the complicated hot composting instructions that are online

A farmer I was collecting compost from that year had a surplus of garlic he had thrown out. I went ahead and took it.

I later read somewhere that much garlic could deter earthworms. I wasn't sure what to do - so I just buried the garlic.

The next year where I buried that huge amount of garlic was the most lush section of the yard.

Finally finishing this.

I first started this a couple years ago - I was very new to gardening and composting. His no-nonsense, easy approach to composting made it appealing to me, being a newbie.
