Wow ok as I’m re-reading I’m noticing a lot of foreshadowing for the second book (which I’ll also reread) and I always went with the thought that the romance of the book was always the weakest part and it still is however I just think it was spaced out badly—the romance was trying to be slow burn but it forgot to slow down.
