Whilst he does sometimes go for easy targets I have never failed to be at least entertained by his reviews and I enjoy his willingness to both look at the WRITING of a book as well as its other elements and be willing to be both negative and back up his comments with evidence and reasoning. Few reviewers are as honest, intelligent or entertaining in their reviews and few trust their readership as much as he.
