I am liking this audiobook quite a lot. This takes place in Oregon and there are Native Americans of the Nez Perce Tribe in the novel. The main character is part Native. She is visiting her aunt on the land where her father lived until recently. Unfortunately he passed on before she got a chance to meet him. She's getting a divorce and has her two children with her. Her aunt is Christian.

What I like about this Christian novel is that it is different than any other Christian novel I've read. I'm reading about Native Americans, a rural community, water rights, and small town community problems, all set in contemporary eastern Oregon. If there are any other Christian novels like this one I'm not aware of them. I appreciate the author's originality, and I like the characters.
