The only original thing about this story is the fact that the monsters are all men and the survivors are all women avoiding violence. A fitting parable for the environment society puts women in, sure, but done in such a ham-fisted way as to lose any real impact. The setting and plot lack finesse, such as to render it no more or less interesting than any other zombie apocalypse B-story.
