Not to sound like a Marxist but why is this entire thing about the Burghers and why did I have to wait 90 pages to learn anything about how much the building laborers were paid? And then I only get one sentence? Hello?

Don’t let the page count here fool you, the actual text minus Index, etc. is a little over 200 pages, so I had to wait until almost 50% to get any actual labor information. Christ
