I'm at the last but one story of the collection, which I found strange. I'm not so sure of the editorial choice and the proliferation of Peranakan photographs, many of them from Penang, not even Singapore!
How did the editor make the choices? How was the book design decided on? Totally a Michener idea of an Asian island.
I have to say I was looking forward to reading the collection and have been most disappointed.
