I forgot the pacing of this was a bit weird. It's 60% in when they finally join the pirate crew and the main plot really "begins" (the stuff leading up to that all feels like setup).
Still my favorite of the 3 so far, but it is really heavy on the setup and then the actual time spent on the big core events feels small by comparison. I guess the first one was kind of like that, too.

On the upside, the weed really helps me fall asleep.
But along with that, apparently, comes a big decrease in reading. I was 12 books ahead of schedule a few weeks ago, down to 8 now.
