Forster has such a fun and whimsical writing style in the way he characters people. Especially Maurice and Clive. I love how these two are just insane in their love like borderline obsessive.
Like Maurice will be angry and he’ll go off to his room and he must write a letter to his lover! And then Clive instantly responds and everyone is losing sleep and they’re the definition of crazy in love and I love it
