I had no idea I could be captivated by this book. Sure I'd read "To Kill a Mockingbird"… about 40 years ago. I had a vague idea that Harper Lee hadn't written another book and a vague idea that she was a very private person.
But I had no idea how vibrant a person she is. How eloquent she and her sister are. How her little Alabama community protects her but allows her to live an active life there. I'm enthralled.
