Currently reading Dracula through Dracula Daily, so not in the way Bran Stoker meant for it to be read. Regardless, I’ll be reading this until November given the timeline and so far I’m enjoying it from an academic standpoint. This is definitely horror, and I can see how it has influenced media today thus far.

Jonathan Harker ate paprika, had weird dreams that he suspected were due to the paprika, and then proceeded to wake up and eat paprika again. A women literally begged him not to go to see Dracula and he still went.
