I'd say my only criticism so far is that the worldbuilding isn't entirely worked on because it's basically the same thing as our world if it was in a late 19th century to early 20th century Cold War.
But otherwise, easy to binge and entertaining most of all since the action sequences are done pretty well.

I see, thank you! Sounds like a nice fun read, tbh I could never finish GOT, The Witcher & those kinds of books because they became repetitive, but they're enjoyable every once in a while- perhaps I'll give it a go next summer then.

I get what you mean, these type of books have a recognizable feeling to it and if you're not into action/drama in the sense that it's written in a 'pop-lit' format then there's no need to dive fully into something you've tried before already. Think of these types of books as casual entertainment, instead of the usual Nabokov, Dostoevsky etc.
