That was my problem with Loretta Chase's The Lion's Daughter. I enjoyed it well enough once I looked past the paedophilic undertones.
@Gloria & Jultra, I've noticed a lot of old authors do that. I don't think a pedophile character is romantic, but that's just me. Glad the newer books don't make this error
