I am getting nowhere with this. Gonna trudge through it but I feel the way I did with Gravity's Rainbow, but I am even more bemused by the introduction.

honestly if you don't read this without notes you're doomed (unless you're an absolute genius). i read a copy where literally 25% of the whole book was footnotes by some literary scholars and i was still mega confused a lot.

it's a mental book but i loved it. i'm not brave enough to try out finnegan's wake yet, though.
