I'm enjoying the story but I think that if you changed Brian's gender to female this novel would read like a heterosexual romance novel. And I think that this is throwing me off because I expected a different dynamic in a gay romance novel. The concept is great and the storyline is very entertaining and intriguing. I will keep reading.
