Holy crap! I just finished the first story, ‘sh*t Cassandra saw that she didn’t tell the Trojans because at that point f*ck them anyway’. Only 5 pages, but it made me angry, heartsick, and laugh out loud. What Kirby wrote about the women of Troy understanding Cassandra’s curse was a very interesting point. I’ve high hopes for this collection. I think I’ll need to savour each story and pace myself though.
