This volume is not even laid out in chronological order. There's even a typo on the back about what issues it covers. It just put the Ultimates issues first, then X-Men, then Spider-Man, which is not a coherent way to read it. For example, Spider-Man #16 ends as The Ultimates #16 begins, with Cap's inaugural presidential speech. You really have to read X-Men #13-14 first to even understand what's at stake.
