The thing about audiobooks, and especially when the narrator is not the same across an authors connected series, the character voices are sometimes just wrong. So far it's only Daine and Numair where the voices are wrong. Lol. But, anyway, I'm seemingly speeding through this, and I haven't put it on 1.5x or 2x speed. Lol.

Continuing my Tortall Audiobook journey from earlier this year with Kel.

Well, that was great. It picked up in the 2nd half. When more of the other pages started to accept her and stuff actually happened. Onto book 2 lol

I'm enjoying this, but not as much as The Immortals. Which isn't a bad thing. I'm missing Daine, and the tedium of knighthood training was not my favorite part of Alanna's books. And based on titles alone...that seems to be most of this series? Anyway.

Only 7pgs in & I already don't like Lord Wyldon lol
