These books were easy, fun reads to begin with but the quality of the writing dropped down to an unreadable level in this book for me.
I can pin point the moment I gave up. When Kieran said that Casteel liked to “go big or go home.” Considering the setting of the book and past language, modern slang has no place here. Lazy writing. Sorry Jen, but I’m out.
