All I know is that I've cried multiple times. Mary Oliver's words have comforted me through some of the darkest weeks of my life. Every poem is oozing with love and tenderness. She acknowledges the pain and hurt of existing, but reminds us that when we find ourselves being buried beneath the soil, this is but the earth's way of allowing us to grow again come spring.
