Ugh…just read some of the reviews for this book….kinda wish I wouldn’t have read them. 🫥. It seems ppl either LOVE this book or LOATHE this book. Dammit. Here’s to hoping I can keep the reviews out of my mind as I read along! 🫣

Overall I really enjoyed this book, but there was times I felt like I would never finish it! I think the problem was that I had watched half of the first season of Outlander. So the first part of the book, or at least the part corresponding to what I watched, was dreadfully dull to me because it wasn’t new knowledge. Once I got beyond that point, however, I found the book to be much more enjoyable and engaging!

So far I really like this book….but boy is it a slow read somehow! I use the Bookly app to time my reading sessions. I SWEAR 30 minutes reading this book maybe MAYBE gets me through 8 pages….whereas other books I could easily put away 25+ pages in 30 minutes. It isn’t due to lack of interest though! It’s almost as if there’s more words per page for this book. With 800 pages…phew, I’m gonna be a bit
