If it were not for the previous five books I've read in this series I would ditch this book! It is what I call "capsicum" (capsicum is a filler in a salad). It is just so boring, full of useless detail that has absolutely nothing to do with the plot.

Books 4 and 5 have seen Inspector Bordelli fall into a fog of melancholy and self pity. In book 6 he has been joined by an old time friend who is just as melancholy!
