I think this is where the supposed plot twist is coming up so I have some guesses.
1. Ryle killed his long lost brother.
2. Atlas is Ryle’s long lost brother.
3. Ryle and his family have been targeting Lily from the start, which would explain how everything was so easy in the beginning.

For a book with such high praise, the MC is annoying, everything Kyle with an R says makes me want to put a bullet between my eyes and the only parts I’m really enjoying at all are some of the diary entries.
