It took me a while to get into this and wasn't truly hooked until around page 100. I think I allowed the opinions of others influence how I felt going into it. I also don't always love back-and-forth in time plots because I get used to one time & want to stay there. But they always make sense for the books & end up helping me connect to the characters. Don't want the book to end...
