Michaela’s Reviews > The Theft of Sunlight > Status Update

This series hits every time.

I’ll never get over how good the plotting is in this book

Love how Rae never gets a moment of peace

It’s hilarious that Rae is guessing at the events of the first book and the only gets it half right 😅

I love how Alyrra decides that the perfect way to introduce Rae to the craziness of her life is to bring her to the grave of her talking horse.

It’s time for a reread 🥹

I love Rae’s inner voice: “Oh, indeed. If these are his best manners, he must have grown up in a ditch.”

Still obsessed with Rae’s big sister energy and how as an oldest sister she immediately can sense that Alyrra needs someone like her

I think I have a new favorite series! I regret not buying both books at Barnes & Noble earlier this week
