Finished! This was not good. I own the author's other book as well, and I really hope it's better.

Omg. Will and Sophia really need to deal with their jealousy issues. Sophia should be able to work and interact with guys who aren't gay with Will getting bent out of shape.

I thought the author character's name was Helena, not Helene, so I just flipped back to check. Yup, "Helena" on page 93.

Paul is garbage, but threatening to pound him into a pulp isn't cool.

Sophia's jealousy has been turned up to 11 since the start, and it's extremely off-putting. Supposedly she had a recent relationship that explains it, but readers were never given any details. She's just insanely, melodramatically jealous anytime Will is pleasant towards another woman.

I don't think "decadent" is the right word here. "Degenerate" or "immoral" would fit better.

There are a couple moments with Will that, honestly, I'd consider red flags. This latest was technically justified, but it's the second time Will has been overcome by rage.

I don't buy the pacing of this romance at all. It's too fast considering Sophia originally approached Will for work-related reasons, and since "fast" was the option the author went with, it's odd that Will would then suddenly agree to a setup where they can't date.

One of my BB purchases. It sounds like a Hallmark movie in book form. My copy is the Passionflix movie edition, which just intensifies that feeling.
