I started reading this in 2009 after reading "Against the Day", "V", and "Gravity's Rainbow". I mentally could not handle another Pynchon novel at the time, and set it aside. 3+ years later, I'm ready to come back to this one. Especially knowing that P.T. Anderson has written a screenplay and will direct the film version of this book! :)
