Help a girl out! So I can no longer deny that I prefer to read books on my ereader compared to physical books. But as a book collector, I feel really conflicted. How do you guys do it?

Evelin ☪️ Queen of Witches ONLY buy them if you have read from the author before and liked it, or if you have read the other books in the series beforehand (if it’s a new one). If it’s something you read before and liked enough, then go buy it! Especially if it’s in a pretty cover haha.

Another thing: if you can easily find the ebook book online (for free) then it’s best to stick with that rather than actually buying the books.

I find these things have helped me save cash. I have bought many books I disliked (which were EXPENSIVE) because I thought it was better to just read it when the physical book arrived. If I had read it before, believe me when I say I would have skipped out on it :(

Temperance I agree with Evelin! Something that I also do is that if I have bought an e-copy (or borrowed it from the library) and ended up falling head over heels for it, then I'll buy a physical copy.
It definitely helps keep my shelves organized and less crowed. 😊

Melissa I guess that is what I'm doing right now. Every book that has a bigger chance of being a letdown or from a new author, I download those already.

Maybe this phrase the issue better. The books that I already own (from authors I really like, books that I highly anticipate) I don't read them as I usually just start another book on my e-reader. But I know, that once I download those books (the ones I own) then I will read them immediately. But that just feels like such a waste of my money?

Same with reading first on e-book and then buying them if I really love them, I wonder if I would reread them physically instead of digitally again :(
