Sooo, in the past books even though there's been a harem for the dragorai the author has made it where the guy never actually uses the harem (or hasn't for years). This time the guy totally does. He has women literally on their knees all day waiting for a chance to 'worship' him lolz

the word 'armpits' isn't sexy. For that position the author could have easily substituted armpits for shoulders.

I'm confused now Uraya is in Nyro's lair? Was Uraya in book 1 as a side character? I can't remember. I think the heroine had a friend in book 1 but I don't remember her coming to the lair after that heroine?

Ok the timeline starts with book 2, I haven't read book 2. This heroine was found with Oshali, involved with the queen, and Oshali is apparently already mated to Tyomar. Oshali has been rescued, the heroine here now kidnapped as a spoil of war.

She gestured to the ground. “We are traveling too far from the south. I need to go back. You can just set me down anywhere here. I will find my own way. Thank you.”

Calmly asking your captor to set you down and ending it with a Thank you before he's even responded is kind of charming? The politeness in the response is something I would do.

“I can see you are going to need some lessons on how to behave in the presence of a dragorai.” Leaning forward, a gleam of excited savagery entered his gaze. “I think I shall enjoy teaching you how to worship me.”

lollll I've been waiting to read this until I was in the mood. This is super tropey but what I need after the emotional devastation of This Splendid Earth
