I have a 7yo boy, and I’m going to let my husband decide when he’s ready to read this series. But I am really enjoying it! Henry undergoes quite the transformation by book 3. He was always brave, I think, but kept in such a tiny box by his adoptive parents. Henrietta is impetuous but her passion and curiosity is tempered by the negative consequences. Zeke and Richard are both loyal companions. Great characters!
