I already know Jude’s fate as I have spoiled it for myself unfortunately but I’m now half way into the book and now I understand where the hatred comes from. Is it necessary? All this excruciating pain he must endure? I just feel so awful reading this now but apparently it gets worse… at this point I don’t find it necessary that I should keep reading but simultaneously you also want to make sure he’s okay somehow.
