Interesting. If you want to know about the ME (from a western perspective), I'd recommend that you read "The Looming Tower" first. This book fleshes out much of the Muslim Brotherhood's influence on ME politics, now and then. There is some chilling stuff in here (resulting from recent research). An expensive ebook, but glad that I bought it.
