Very fairytale like. Something any girl would dream of falling into as a romantic, but the reality of life and love 9 times out of 10 won’t unfold like this with a happily-ever-after.

The ending really throws the reader through an emotional loop! Why couldn't the whole story read like that?!

I do like how Moore writes from the POV of the characters. Yeah, it's confusing at times with all the creative writing but as pieces unfold from each side, the reader learns the full story, understanding how the character think s, even reactions (even if they're hard knowing what we know - the full story, both sides).

I don't like that pieces of the past (Blair and Cruise's celibacy relationship, Kendall mom and Cruise's dad past) are coming up now and just in passing conversations.

When they arrive, Sam - Cruise's mom, has fallen from the steps. But because of Moore's creative writing, I thought something bigger and worse was happening - like a fire.

Just an example of how Moore's creative writing can be confusing: As Cruise and Kendall are racing to the bed and breakfast for an emergency, Kendall remarks how the atmosphere changes to amber like there was a fire that was engulfing the bed and breakfast.

Moore throws in a lot of creative writing. I understand she's trying to add to the story but I feel as though it's just filler - almost junk. But, not saying it doesn't add to it. I like creative writing but it doesn't seem to fit the flow of this context at times. Or maybe it's used too much?

I'm confused as to why Kendra started crying into Cruise after the first class he taught. Embarrassment? Then, when she returns "home," she is pissed off at him for what unfolded in class. Yet everything leading up to this/these moments reveal Kendra and Cruise's deeper feelings for each other to the reader. I'm just slightly confused and feel lost like I missed something.

I think Moore is trying to tease us for the upcoming sexual activity too. It's kind of annoying. I rather the story just naturally flow.

I don't like that Cruise called Kendall "Kenny" - it really annoys me. The way the story starts too made me feel like I entered a carnival or circus. I was utterly confused as to who was speaking, where we were, why we were there, what lead us there, etc. granted I've kept on and at times I tilt my head thinking "really?!" But it's a good read.
