So far, this book does very well with connecting older heresies with Dewey Roberts' understanding of comments made by several proponents of Federal Vision ideas (even if they have repudiated the phrase). The analysis of the federal vision ideas has been good but the connections to older heresies (Pelagianism, Semi-Pelagianism, Gnosticism, Manicheism, etc.) is invaluable.
