That's book 2 down. Very different to book 1, different characters and plot, and honestly until the last say 20 pages I wouldn't have said anything to do with the original. On to the final book 3 and I find it very pleasing aesthetically that each book is exactly 1/3rd of the total.

That's the first book finished. I enjoyed it a lot more the second time round, I'd forgotten a surprising amount to the point I have to ask myself if I read it at all?? Anyway onto book 2!
