40% through this book on my Kindle now. So far, it is an enjoyable, but not exceptional read for me. I don't like how the writing keeps shifting from past to present tense (always a pet peeve of mine), but other than that, it is well-written. The characters aren't quite as I remembered them from the original series, but it's still fun to see what they are doing "now." And the wizard Randal just showed up...yay!
