But if I'm supposed to believe Christian is a Romanian teenager, then he should've known and experienced the 'Falcons of the Fatherland.' Also, most people don't view that group as indoctrination, even if it was. They still have happy memories of it and talk about that with pride. It meant something for them, which the author, as a foreigner, could never grasp.
